Our story
Alliance's Middle Tennessee Racking Division
Nashville Pallet Rack is the dedicated pallet racking division of Alliance Material Handling, which has equipped warehouses for more than 70 years. We work the Middle Tennessee market specifically, because Nashville is not a generic warehouse market and it does not reward generic rack design.
The Nashville metro now holds more than 250 million square feet of industrial space, spread across submarkets that do not behave alike. A 36-foot-clear Class A box on I-24 in La Vergne is a different engineering problem from a 1970s building in MetroCenter or on Elm Hill Pike, and both are different again from an automotive supplier feeding the Nissan plant in Smyrna or GM in Spring Hill. The right system in Lebanon is not automatically the right system in Franklin.
Two things shape almost every job here. The first is the ground: the Nashville Basin is limestone close to the surface, with karst and sinkholes common in Rutherford and Wilson counties, so building pads are often cut and filled over uneven rock and slab support can change across a single building. The second is seismic. Unlike low-seismic markets, Middle Tennessee typically falls in ASCE 7 Seismic Design Category B or C, so base plates, anchors and frame bracing are checked against real seismic values rather than ignored.
Whether you are filling a new distribution building on I-24 or I-40, standing up rack for an automotive supplier in Smyrna or Spring Hill, permitting high-piled storage through Metro Codes and the Nashville Fire Marshal, or inspecting a system after a Middle Tennessee tornado — our crews handle the full scope: design, stamped engineering, permits, installation, and ongoing ANSI/RMI inspection programs.
